Bunker Corporation
Letter From the founder

Why there is a parent at all.

Written September 2026. It will be updated when the facts change, and the date will change with it.

Bunker Corporation is, today, one person in Germany. I would rather say that on the first page than have you work it out from the Impressum. The question that follows is fair: why does one person need a parent brand, two divisions and a page about standards?

Because structure is cheapest before it is needed. Every company that grew without one spent years afterwards untangling which brand owned which product, which entity held which mark, and which team was responsible when something broke. The studios I respect most — the ones whose games are still played and whose tools are still used a decade on — are operating studios under a parent that owns the IP and holds the line on quality. I am building that shape now, at the size of one, so that it does not have to be retrofitted at the size of twenty.

What the two divisions are for

Bunker Systems is the engineering. It builds software for other people and, under the same name, the infrastructure the group's own platforms run on. It pays for the rest.

Digital Bunker is the games studio. Its long project is the Bunkerverse — a universe of games and the places inside them — and along the way it has needed tools that did not exist, so those get built too and sold to other developers who have the same problem. The first of them, Web to Widget, is an Unreal Engine plugin engineered by Bunker Systems and published by Digital Bunker. That sentence is the whole model in miniature: the technical division builds it, the creative division is the face it is sold under, and the parent holds the mark.

What the parent does

Three things, and nothing else. It holds the brands and the marks in one place, so that ownership is never ambiguous. It sets the standard that both divisions work to — written out on the standard page as commitments a stranger can check, because a standard that cannot be checked is a slogan. And it keeps the family looking and behaving like one family: the same typography, the same refusal to send your browser anywhere you did not ask to go, the same legal pages written for what each site actually does.

The parent sells nothing. If you want to buy something or hire someone, you do it from a division, and the division answers.

What I am not claiming

There is no holding company yet; "Corporation" is a brand name and the legal entity is a sole trader, which the Impressum says plainly. There are no subsidiaries, no investors and no headcount to speak of. Several of the brands on the group page are a registered domain and a holding page, and they are labelled that way. I would rather the map be honest and sparse than impressive and false.

What there is: shipping software, a games platform in private preview, a way of working I am willing to be held to, and a structure that will not need to be torn up when the next person joins.
